Hand Made Love. A guide for teaching about male
masturbation through understanding and video
by Dave Hingsburger
|
|

|
Order code: 05-M002 Price:
£32.90
Format: 16 mins video & 280x215mm 55pp paperback guidebook set
This video is a welcome
addition to the field of sex education with people who have disabilities
that hinder learning. Unlike many masturbation tapes, this one places the
act of self pleasure in context. Steve, the narrator, discusses privacy,
pleasure and the realities of sharing living spaces with others. He also
talks about sex and desire. While setting the stage to demonstrate
masturbation, he speaks in plain language that is fully respectful of the
needs of the viewer. As the discussion becomes more private there are
opportunities for the viewer to decide if they would like to continue
watching or stop. The guidebook discusses masturbation from the point of
health and pleasure. Dave writes about both systemic issues and the right
of the individual to privacy. He uses examples to illustrate his points and
suggests ways to build healthy environments for adults. The book also
includes a consultation on masturbation for clinical staff. Suggestions are
made as to how to use the video in teaching about such a private topic.

Hints for Graphic Facilitators
by Jack
Pearpoint
|
|

|
Order code: 02-B024 Price:
£12.50
Format: 275 x 215 mm 47pp
paperback
This book is an introduction
to graphic facilitation. If you are curious, nervous, terrified, or even better
just want to try graphics on for size, this is the book for you. The
underlying assumption is that we all have this gift, and we just need to
remember how we did it when we were children. Thus, it includes beginning
steps, and has hundreds of images that you can build on. Most are very
simple, but colour panels also demonstrate how felt pens and pastel crayons
can make everyone's work lively and colourful. If you are working in Person
Centred Planning in its many forms, MAPS, PATH, Circles, and more, and
wondering about the graphics you need, you need this book. You can do this. Get the book. Try it.
You'll like it.
