Over the past two years Jack Pearpoint & Marsha Forest
have been working with the Yellowknife
School District in
the Canadian Arctic. This video deals with the struggles of this, or any
school (or other organisation) to plan for their future. Follow a three
day planning process that involves students, administrators, board
members and teachers in a future planning event that is making a
difference. PATH and other tools are utilised.

This is an excellent example of
a PATH with a group of school administrators, human service providers and
families who want to create an inclusive school system. The video was
filmed during a workshop for professionals and families at the University
of Dayton, Ohio. Marsha
Forest and Jack
Pearpoint go through each step of the process in detail, with an
excellent commentary by Marilyn Bishop throughout the video. This is a
marvellous compliment to the PATH Training Video. The two videos together
will give the viewer a good glimpse into how PATH can be done with the
focus on an individual or with a group. The PATH Workbook compliments the
video.
Audience: School and Human Service staff who want to use PATH for
building inclusive school and other community systems. Families. Advocacy
groups. Note - this is not a “training” tape, so the PATH
Training Video should be seen to understand the steps in the process.

O'Brien and Marsha
Forest. This video
takes the viewer through the steps designed to deal with complex issues
for individuals, families, and organisations. PATH has been used with
medical practitioners, architects, schools, individuals and families. It
is a sharp and powerful tool that gets people to do-able first steps.
Jack & Marsha facilitate the PATH and do instructional commentaries
on each step: the North Star, the Dream, the Vision. This video describes
each step. Audience: A must for anyone interested in PATH.
